UNS Cultural Night 2017, around the world in 4 hours
Cultural differences are indeed always interesting to explore. Each country has its own characteristics that often attracts people from all over the world to enjoy it. In Indonesia alone, performing arts and culture are repeatedly done to increase the number of tourists visit. In my writing this time, I will share the experience of visiting the event cultural performances held annually by the University Eleven Maret (UNS) of Surakarta. In 2017, this event was the ninth. That makes the pertunjukanya caught my attention was the event contains cultural exchanges of foreign students studying in the green campus (which is also my alma mater, former mhuehehe …) Animo Solo community to attend this event is very evident from the high ticket sales are always exhausted not left. Let alone ticket sold in pre-sale, the ticket expires in 15 minutes. Luckily I still had a chance to buy a ticket on a wave I to queue up the ticket, I would willingly permit out of Office 2 hours to standby in the lobby of the library to purchase tickets UNS UCN 2017. The ticket price is Rp. 35ribu and each ticket buyer can only buy up to 2 tickets. The struggle ended with the victory of panjangpun (off glasses, singsingkan arm) UNS Cultural Night 2017 was held on Thursday, may 4, 2017 starts at 19:00 in auditorium UNS. Foreign students participating in the event were from 20 countries. There is the United States, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Libya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Poland, France, Rwanda, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Thailand, Timor-Leste, China, Togo, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Viet Nam, Indonesia, and Greece. A variety of performances such as fashion shows, dances, and musical instrument able to hypnotize the entire audience who saw it which always ended with boisterous applause. The most I wait is typical food fairs of the country. The exhibition here does not mean we just look around makananya, haha … of course we can also opt in to taste some typical food of the country. We cannot try all the makananya because of the Committee limited the number of taking food. Food booths of the participating countries already arranged neatly where stretching from West to East. Conditions are somewhat less regular and impressed semrawut when the culinary events arrive. Due to lack of experience in the jostling, I eventually was only able to get the food that comes from Myanmar, Timor Leste, and the United States. My attention was fixed on American food booths. The food was just a biscuit sandwich cheese S'more named by its creator. There is a philosophy behind the name S'more. So the S'more is short for "some more" (want more). So pengharapanya is who will eat adds again, hahaha … (okay, crisp) I often cringe when looking at each of the shows. Instead of the creeps because the myth of the awesomeness of the building of the campus but the creeps because amazed and in awe of the cultural offerings that come from different parts of the world. It is remarkable that night it felt could be in the ranks of cultural shows lovers. Me and the other is like being in a time machine that brings us round the world for approximately 4 hours. This is the atmosphere in the building of the auditorium. A lot of right penontonya. This food booths from Timor-Leste. Masakanya flavor similar to curry. It must have been in the know from where. Kimochi … Performing dances of Laos. The dancer cowo but very supple. When performing fashion show. Can guess which are perform from which country? That's the images that I can share. May the next year be able to witness again the course will certainly be lively. Let me not half-measures get gambaranya, can see here. Survivors testified.
